Affordable Business Ownership
Like our Homebuyer Initiated Program (HIP), the Business Initiated Program (BIP) will provide business ownership opportunities to residents in St. Paul and greater Ramsey County with a focus on supporting small, local, and minority-owned businesses. Through this program, which is still in development, Rondo CLT will assist business-owners in purchasing and fixing up commercial spaces of their choice by offering financial assistance and guidance.

The Right to Return Business Program
The Right to Return Business Program seeks to bridge business ownership opportunities to those who were displaced or are descendants of individuals displaced by the construction of I-94. The program supports community members (or descendants) of “Old Rondo” start businesses by providing first right of refusal on any existing Rondo CLT commercial space. Leveraging BIP, Rondo CLT will provide a deeper affordability investment as a reparative action.
