Rondo African-American Arts District: Celebrating Art, History, and Community in St. Paul

Since 1993, Rondo CLT has evolved to meet the changing needs of our community. Today, we’re expanding our commitment to place-keeping by centering arts and culture as key drivers of equitable, community-led development. Through the Rondo African-American Arts District (RAAD), we’re building the foundation for a vibrant cultural corridor. Partnering with local artists and businesses along Selby Avenue, we’re bringing dynamic, community-rooted art to the heart of Rondo.

Our commitment is to continuously grow the Rondo African-American Arts District (RAAD), creating ongoing opportunities for local artists and enriching the neighborhood with public art. Through creativity and collective action, we ensure that Rondo's legacy is not only remembered—it’s celebrated, uplifted, and amplified for generations to come. Layered, historical, and forward-looking, RAAD remembers what was disrupted and reimagines what’s possible ahead.
